Freepik adapts emblematic advertising campaigns to local businesses in Malaga within the framework of El Sol

Freepik continues to promote the visibility of local businesses and on this occasion it does so during the celebration of El Sol, the Ibero-American Festival of Advertising Communication, which will take place on May 30 and 31 in Malaga. The graphic resource distribution platform will take this opportunity to highlight the benefits that artificial intelligence can bring to small businesses.

In this sense, the company has launched the "Reimagine Málaga" initiative, which consists of an exhibition of eight posters that present some of the most notable advertising campaigns of recent years adapted to local businesses in the city. In this way, ads from Nike, Adidas, Ikea or Volvo fit the messages of businesses such as Marisquería Pelayo, Cerrajería Daniel Martínez, or Electro Ocasión Almayate.

The campaign, under the slogan "AI facilitates good creativity for any brand", reinvents such recognized concepts as "Impossible is nothing" by Adidas, "Write your Future" by Nike or "Smell like a man, man" by Old Spice . To do this, the company's designers have used artificial intelligence both in the creation of the images and in the elaboration of the texts of the pieces.

The posters are already on display on Málaga's busy Larios street and will be available for your enjoyment until May 31.

The purpose of this initiative, as explained by Freepik in a statement, is to demonstrate how artificial intelligence can contribute to democratizing advertising, making it more accessible for small brands.

This campaign joins a series of actions that Freepik has carried out this year to make local businesses visible. Last February, it redesigned small businesses in the "Neighborhood Design" action, which connected businesses with emerging designers. This idea also moved to San Francisco in April, redesigning establishments in the Excelsior district.

The campaign is part of the support and presence that Freepik will have in El Sol, which this year celebrates its 38th edition. Following the line of the previous year, the company will promote a round table on the impact of technology on creativity. Titled "Artificial Intelligence + Human Creativity", it will feature the participation of Pablo Escobedo, AI specialist at Prodigioso Volcán; Adam Colyer, Co-Dundator and Executive Creative Director of Giant Cookie; and Cristóbal Oviedo, Creative Director of Freepik. Moderation will be carried out by Natalia Marín, Editor in Chief of Reason Why.
